Philosophy, communication and way of working

Every production starts from an empty page. Every proposal is written anew from a to z. We do this to avoid having a cut-and-paste result and to make sure the approach answers to the needs perfectly. Techniques and ideas are adapted to the circumstances, the budget, the timing and the creative aspiration of the production. All to make everything on both emotional and (audio)visual level fit like a glove.

Ensemblage is about people. It's about working with clients, partners and suppliers in a way that acknowledges the importance of good communication. It’s about coaching from question to answer. About attention for detail as well as the bigger picture along the way. It is about taking up responsibility. Because we believe the perfect alignment of everyone’s wishes holds the secret to a successful production.

Time constraints, budgetary constraints and the limits of technology all factor in for any production. Ensemblage looks at these issues from a pragmatic point of view: if it doesn't work, we'll find something that does. We will not tell you all is possible (it isn't), but we will find a way within the available resources. Moreover, we are good at doing a lot in little time and even within a small budget. You'd be surprised.
